Moons Restaurant and Bar
286 Princes Street
Wheelchair / Accessible Access
There is a step at the main entrance to this venue, but there’s a wheelchair entrance via a side door (beside the entrance to Catalyst, which is next door to Moons). This side door leads down a ramp and turns off to the right, leading to the restaurant. However, there are four steps up into the restaurant, and five steps down to the performance venue. If you’re entering at the main door, there are nine steps total to the performance space; the stairs are carpeted.
The door to the performance space is 1340mm.
Bathrooms
There is an accessible gender-neutral bathroom off the accessible entrance, but this is up five stairs from the performance space. The bathroom door is 780mm and the stall is 1600mm by 2000mm.
Approach to Venue
The entrance to this venue is on the street, and there is on-street parking outside. There are no reserved accessible parks, but there is easy access via public transport.
Service Dogs
Service dogs are welcome at this venue, but they will need to stay at their owner’s side—there is no door to the kitchen, so venue staff don’t want dogs roaming around.
Contact
If you have any questions about the accessibility of this venue, please email hello@moons.nz or call Jenny on 021 0271 6775.
